About Me

I've worked with children and families to better support family functioning and child development for over 20 years.

My Philosophy

Throughout the course of my life’s journey, I have had the opportunity to explore numerous religious and spiritual traditions. What I have consistently found at the core of the majority of these traditions is the fundamental belief in the unity of all beings through a shared spirit. However, this spirit—innate and luminous at birth—may be either elevated or diminished by the circumstances into which one is born and the various experiences encountered throughout life.

The radiant light of the spirit, which shines brightly at the outset of life, often becomes obscured by the inevitable trials and tribulations that every individual must face. Fear may manifest in various forms, including phobias, shame, and anger, each of which can adversely affect one’s self-esteem and interpersonal relationships.

The most profound challenge lies in rediscovering this original light.  Once one begins to take even the smallest steps forward, that light from within begins to shine albeit dimly at first, but with consistent effort and increased self love, improved relationships with others is experienced as the soul lights the way forward with increasing brightness.
